Question/Problem:
Cdosys (CDO 2000) is already installed. Will any functionality or features be lost if I use cdosys instead of Aspemail?
Answer/Solution:
ASPEmail is the best choice for the following reasons:
1. Bounce removal works much better as recent changes to Windows / CDO infrastructure have caused CDO to forcibly return undeliverable mail to the FROM address rather than the dedicated RETURNPATH address.
2. Message queueing and processing is far superior both in terms of reliability and performance. The major advantage factor is the asynchronous processing architecture of the aspEmail queueing, which allows for items to be sent immediately rather than in order of timestamp. This eliminates a potentially costly process and increases overall performance and capacity.
